Search by Hierarchy
The Search by Hierarchy tool provides the ability to search for specific data based on a hierarchical filter. The filter is all inclusive, meaning the criteria must match all of the selected values. If a select box is left unselected, than all values will match that criteria. The main benefit of this tool is that it allows you to drill down through your data and filter out undesired characteristics.
- Select a value from a select box.
Note: Road Analyzer will look at your map service's display field for that layer, and display that value.
- Wait for the lower select box values to load, and then select the next criteria.
Tip: You can proceed to step 4 with any number of filters selected.
- Repeat the previous steps until you have the desired criteria.
- Click Apply Filter to initiate the search based on the selected hierarchical filter.
Note: The map will zoom to the first route in the selection. A maximum of 1000 records will be returned. To view the selected routes, click the dropdown under Route to see all routes that were selected based on the text search.
To clear/reset the filter back to its original state, click Clear.
